January 1st is actually National Hangover Day. You can have fun with that one. January 2nd if Natl. Buffet Day. Consider starting the year

Is there any more widely celebrated international day that Cinco De Mayo? We think not. This offers a great opportunity to connect with your residents in that most time-honored way...breaking bread. Or, should we say, "Totillas"? Hosting a Mexican food event on or around Cinco De Mayo is as Texas as the Alamo.

May is also Natl. Pet Month. This could be a great opportunity to get your animal loving residents together to celebrate their love for their fur babies.

    Resident events for Summer

Summer in Texas is special. Long days and warm nights. Summer is pool party season. Get folks out to the pool for a classic cool down. Consider having your pool party in the late morning or evening to avoid the hottest part of the day. Texas heat can be tough.

The 4th of July is probably the most exciting day all summer. We do love our burgers, dogs and fireworks. Celebrating our freedom is the perfect excuse a little summer fellowship.
